How long can we keep the castle? You can keep the castle for the whole day. Delivery and pick up times can be arranged to suit your needs. We can deliver a castle to you from 8am onwards and then pick up at any time up to 8pm. If you want to keep the castle after 8pm, then we do need to charge extra for collection at 9pm add £5 for collection at 10pm add £10 collection at 11pm add £15 If you would like to keep the castle overnight, add £20. What happens if it rains on the hire day? The bouncy castles shouldn’t be used if it gets too wet as it can become very dangerous. However, some of our castles come with a detachable shower cover. If it is very wet on your hire day let us know, and you can cancel without charge. We also reserve the right to do this also. Do you deliver? Of course, and it’s free for the first 10 miles from Luton town centre, and only £1 a mile thereafter and covers both the delivery and collection. Do you require a deposit? No, all we ask is that if you want to cancel you call us at least 48 hours before the agreed delivery time. If you cancel after this time you may incur a cancellation charge of £20 What happens on the day? We will deliver the castle to your venue at the time agreed with yourself. Then, we inflate the castle and show you how to operate it safely. We ask you to read the safety instructions and sign a copy to confirm that you have understood everything. You have the best party ever and then we come and pick it up at the agreed time. How many children can go on a castle at one time? It depends on the size of the children! However, we would recommend a maximum of 6 children on a 12x12 castle at the same time. What do you need from us? A big enough garden for the castle, to know whether you want to put it outside or inside, on grass, concrete or the type of floor and for you to have a great party. How much room does the bouncy castle require? As a rule you will need about 5 feet behind the castle, 2 foot each side and enough space at the front for the children to enter and exit the castle safely. Can the castle go indoors? Yes, however we need to make sure there is sufficient ceiling height. When can we hire a Castle? Our bouncy castles are available for hire every day of the year. We can get very busy, particularly in the summer, so it is best to book as early as you can. Can we collect the bouncy castle? To make sure that you are completely covered by insurance we need to be able to deliver the castle and inflate it for you. We will also talk you through the how to make the most of it. Are your castles clean? Yes, we maintain our castles to a very high standard, they are cleaned regularly. Therefore we expect the castle to be returned in the same condition it was delivered. Please clean any marks etc prior to collection. Please read our hire agreement for full details of your responsibilities, a hardcopy of which will be supplied on the day of hire. How much does it cost to run a bouncy castle? On average it costs about a £1 in electricity to run a bouncy castle for a day. Can we cancel if it rains? We do not charge a cancellation fee and do not ask for a deposit but we do require at least 24 hrs notice of a cancellation. If less than 24 hours notice is given then a charge of £25 may be made. However, we also reserve the right to cancel a booking (usually giving 24 hrs notice). This is usually due to adverse weather conditions and as these bouncy castles are “slippery when wet” and can be hazardous, we will ring you on rainy days to ensure you still require a castle. Do you have insurance? We have a £1 million public liability insurance covering accidents and injuries caused by our equipment failing or incorrect or unsafe installation. As the hirer, YOU are responsible for ensuring adult supervision of the inflatable at all times. What does the insurance cover? The cover exists to provide protection to 3rd parties for any damage caused by our castle. We must also warn the hirer that if any accident occurs from the hirers neglect to supervise, then the hirer will be FULLY responsible and no liability will be accepted by Bounce in’ Beds Are there any age or height limits? There is an age limit of 14 and a height limit 1.5 metres for our castles with the exception of the big boy’s castle (which is suitable for all ages and heights) . If we find anybody over this age is or has been using the children’s inflatables we will have to send it off for safety testing, this costs around £100 plus any losses we may incur through not being able to hire the inflatable out. The hirer will be held responsible and will be expected to pay for all costs and losses incurred. If the height limit is exceeded then there is a danger of the user either toppling the castle or bouncing over the safety walls |
